Showdown at the Temple
I’d love to see a scene like this in Episode VII. Either send Luke out in a blaze of glory kicking Sith ass, or make him into the hero of the moment, single-handedly defending the new Jedi Temple on Yavin 4.
Showdown at the Temple
Actually came across this today while I was out flying. Very serene.
Moonglade Overlook | Moonglade, Kalimdor
Requires flying?: Yes - you’ll need your Flight Master’s License.
Requires a faction?: No.
Requires summoning for lower levels?: No, but any character below level 60 or who doesn’t have flying + old world flying will need to be summoned or flown up.
Affected by phasing/requires quests?: No.
Nearby NPCs: None.
Coordinates: 64, 9. It’s along the northern mountain range overlooking the ocean.
Description: A random bench with some trees. A nice quiet space that’s rather difficult to find. I’m unsure why it exists, as it doesn’t seem to be one of the “eye candy” places added in to see during a flight path.
World Population over the course of this episode: 7,141,882,969 - 7,141,895,729
Recording in the Santa Monica Mountains in Los Angeles, CA, birthplace of the Cobb Salad.
The Cobb Salad was first created at the famous Hollywood Brown Derby restaurant, so named for the owner, Robert…
A few days ago, I was watching football when an ad came on that seemed both familiar and foreign. The music was familiar. The devices were familiar. And then came the voice.
"We don’t read and write poetry because it’s cute…"
I knew I had heard both that voice and those words before. In fact, I knew I had heard that voice reading those words before.
"We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion."
Then it hit me: Robin Williams. This must be some sort of trailer for a new film. This looks like a movie trailer. And again, the music is so familiar. And Hollywood loves to use the same songs in trailers over and over again.
'Tis a thing of beauty.
ON THE LEVEL GAMING TURNS TWO!
On January 11 our site turned two years old. We can’t believe it!
It seems like it was only yesterday that Eric and I were brainstorming ideas for a new site that focused on bringing gamers the facts, abandoned review scores, and provided a site to let gamers draw their own conclusions about games/hardware.
It was within our first year that we met the sublime pwnlove (Kaitlin) and equally wonderful pixalry (Billy) and we haven’t looked back since. The first year was about establishing our site and this last year was all about growing it, and grow it we have. I won’t bore everyone with numbers but we are proud of our milestones.
This year we will continue to focus on growth but also trying to engage the community more. We love to hear from you and we value your feedback.
Thank you to all of our followers. Thanks for your constant support. We look forward to bringing you another year of quality content.
